Nigel Petrie - CHAIRMAN

Chairman of AD Group and Group company Dedicated Micros, he has extensive experience of business management and improvement across a range of sectors. This expertise includes working with the prestigious Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric project in Australia. He was HR director at the National Grid Company, now National Grid Transco, until 1993 when he was appointed General Manager.

Later Nigel became the Managing Director of First Hydro Company, a peak generator trading in the UK electricity market. Nigel also has considerable non executive experience in the Healthcare sector both in the US and the UK. He is currently a member of the Board for Wales of the National Trust and also a Governor of Clwyd Theatr Cymru.

Ranked No1 amongst the top 100 entrepreneurs in the UK by Management Today magazine (January 05), Mike is the CEO and creative force behind the AD Group. He also founded Dedicated Micros more than 20 years ago. In 1985 he brought to market the world’s first CCTV multiplexer, which proved to be an instant success and is still recognised today as a major landmark in the expansion of CCTV.

Within 10 years, from a standing start, the DM business had grown to be worth £60 million, putting it at the very forefront of CCTV systems. In 1997 Mike left DM to set-up AD Group, focusing on mobile CCTV solutions for aviation and remotely monitored CCTV. He returned to the DM fold in May 2001 as Deputy Chairman alongside his role as CEO of AD Group – now DM’s parent company - which under Mike’s stewardship had become a major success in its own right, with turnover soaring from £930k in 1998 to £93 million in 2004. Mike’s philosophy has always been one of constant innovation, keeping one step ahead of the competition.

Adam Wiseberg - DIRECTOR

Adam joined the AD Group in 1997 as Sales and Marketing Director for RemGuard Visual Management a pioneer of remotely monitored CCTV in the UK, becoming Managing Director in 1999 (a position which he still holds). Also in 1999 he joined the Board of AD Group working closely with DM and AD Group founder Mike Newton. Together they took the Group turnover from under £1 million to over £90 million in 5 years winning the Deloitte Indy 100 award for fastest growing UK company in 2004.

A frequent speaker at CCTV and security seminars, he was recently appointed Chairman of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), having chaired its CCTV Section since 2001. He has been the driving force behind the development of landmark standards such as BS 8418 for detector activated CCTV occupying the Chair of the BSI committee for CCTV Standards since 2001 and is currently working on European CCTV Standards. He was recently appointed to the Board of Skills for Security – a skills and standards setting body for the sector, writes regularly on issues in the CCTV industry and is much in demand as a speaker at CCTV and security seminars.He was appointed to the DM Board in 2004.

Andrew Finn - FINANCE DIRECTOR

On the Board of AD Group in his capacity as Group Finance Director, where he has additional responsibility for operational issues, including manufacturing. Andrew joined Group company Dedicated Micros back in 1998 as UK Financial Controller, rising rapidly to become, in under a year, Group Financial Controller.

Appointed to the DM Board in 2002 after his promotion to the position of Finance Director, he played a pivotal role working with the Board to ensure the successful completion of a series of acquisitions, looking at critical areas such as due diligence, financing and legal requirements. He has extensive experience in the finance function having previously worked for GEC Alstom as Chief Accountant, where he was responsible for seven international companies, and for 10 years with the Kennedy Construction Group.
